Message SO the last few days I have noticed my temp gauge acting weird.

I havent driven the Z in about a month and last time I drove it was having some overheating problems in stop and go traffic. I think when I parked it in the garage the temp might have gone up with no air circulating and the engine off.

Yesterday when I started it up the needle was stuck up to the top until I rolled down my driveway and it seemed like the vibration caused it to unstick and come back down.

This morning when I started it up i let it warm up for about 5-10 mins and when I got in it the temp gauge was all the way at the bottom as if the engine was producing no heat for that 10 mins. Again, once driving everything went back to normal.

I dont know if this is a gauge issue or a sensor issue. I am tempted to say sensor only because I have seen it act sporadic like this in the past a few times, namely after jostling the sensor or accidentally spraying it with cleaner.

But those are all the symptoms. What do yall think, gauge or sensor?
